Torin joined the 10/11 News Team in August 2013 as a video journalist/content producer.
Torin is from Battle Creek, Michigan. He moved to Omaha with his family in February 1996. He is a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan, owner of more than 25 different Michigan shirts. Friends and coworkers are still in the process of converting him to be a member of Husker nation.
When he’s not working, you can likely find him on the golf course or doing some sort of physical activity. Torin enjoys listening to music, and after years of Nebraska countryside has become quite the country music fan.
Torin traveled to Haiti in the summer of 2011 after the earthquake. He and a team of college students helped build and orphanage that is now home to more than 100 children. Back in 2006, he traveled to New Orleans to assist with Hurricane Katrina relief. He and his church team helped gut a home in preparation of having it remodeled.
Torin is one of five in his family, parents Tim and Tara, and brothers Tyler and Trey.
