Megan started working for 10/11 Central Nebraska News in November 2007 as a part-time photographer.

Megan started working for 10/11 Central Nebraska News in November 2007 as a part-time photographer. After she graduated from Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism/New Media in the spring of 2009, she became a full-time video journalist in Grand Island.

Living in Grand Island is a change for Megan who grew up on a ranch north of Burwell, but she's enjoying the rewards of city life - such as going to the mall! Born and raised here, Megan knows living in Nebraska really is "the good life." Even though she is a Hastings College Bronco, she'll always root for the Huskers too. For her, the best part about working in news is that she can travel to new places and meet new people almost every day.

When Megan isn't working she likes to visit her family and friends. She enjoys photography and recently learned to scuba dive. She likes to go home and ride horses, listen to all kinds of music, eat a juicy steak off the grill, play basketball, and enjoy all of the other nice things life has to offer.
