Kevin Sjuts joined the 10/11 Sports team in July 2005 as the Weekend Sports Anchor and soon earned the title of Sports Director. Kevin graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his college career he had the opportunity to work for an ESPN Radio affiliate for 4 years doing play-by-play and color commentary for numerous high school sporting events.
Kevin came to Lincoln in 2004 to work as a sports reporter for KLKN, and instantly got wrapped up in Husker athletics. He feels very fortunate to get a chance to cover sports in a city as passionate about athletics as Lincoln.
He also enjoys playing sports, including football, softball, and golf, and cheering on the Fighting Illinois and Chicago Cubs.
Kevin and his wife Michelle enjoy spending quality time with their daughter, Bella, son, Paxon, and their dog Jangles.
