The Waverly Vikings are 10/11's Anderson Auto Group Team of the Week. Waverly upset Class B No. 5 Aurora 41-28 Friday night.
Cole Weichel led the way for the Vikings rushing for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Waverly tallied 450 yards on the ground notching its first win of the season.
Waverly (1-4) scored more points against the Huskies than it did in its first four games combined -- all against ranked teams.
