During the month of November, recycle your scrap metal at Alter Scrap Processing or Sadoff Iron and Metal Co. to benefit Lincoln Public Schools Recycling Program. All types of scrap metal including aluminum and tin cans, appliances, pots and pans, wiring, sinks, bathtubs, electric motors, plumbing materials, and many other items may be accepted. You have the option to donate all or part of your revenue from the metal. At the end of the month, the firms will match the amount of public donation. This is a great way to help Lincoln Public Schools expand their recycling operations and outreach for students, faculty, and staff. Funds raised for the LPS Recycling Program will be used toward replacing old recycling containers.
