The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says flood waters are receding in the area near Linoma Beach, near Ashland.

A statement from the office says the ice jam causing the river to flood, within that area, has broken up and the river is flowing well again. The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, along with representatives of the Sarpy County Emergency Management Office and the Natural Resources District, will remain in the area to keep an eye on the situation.
