The upper level low that brought snow to much of the Cornhusker State Friday through Saturday morning has moved into the southeastern part of the United States.

The highest snowfall accumulations were in north central Nebraska. Valentine and Springview both recorded 8 inches of new snow while Ainsworth and Ord got 5.

Much of eastern Nebraska received 3 to 6 inches. Snowfall totals of 4 inches were reported in Lincoln and Omaha. Beatrice checked in with 3.

Lesser snowfall amounts were seen in south central Nebraska. Grand Island got about 2.2".

Continue to watch out for slick spots on roadways, sidewalks and parking lots Saturday night and Sunday morning.
