The City of Kearney Street Division that in anticipation of a major snow storm predicted, a Snow Emergency is in effect beginning Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10 p.m. and continuing through Monday, April 6, 2009 at 8 a.m.

There is no parking on emergency snow routes during the snow emergency. Violators will be towed and ticketed.

After snow removal on emergency routes, crews may enter residential neighborhoods. As a courtesy to neighbors and crew operators, residents are asked to keep vehicles off the streets if possible for the efficiency of the snow removal process.
