Heavy rains have caused flash flooding and at least two deaths in northeast Arkansas after a sport-utility vehicle overturned on a water-covered rural road near Jonesboro.
Authorities say Jonesboro police and firefighters are looking for a 14-year-old boy who was reportedly swept into a storm drain by the flooding.
Craighead County dispatchers say a man and a woman died in the crash last night about 10 miles northeast of Jonesboro.
Jeff Presley, director of Jonesboro's 911 call center, says authorities also are searching a storm pipe on Burke Avenue after witnesses say a boy was swept into a drain. Presley says the boy had been playing with others in a flooded lot.
