A tornado watch is in effect until 9:00 p.m. for much of central and eastern Nebraska. Parts of western Nebraska are in a Tornado watch until 11:00 p.m.

Severe thunderstorms have been reported in Thayer, Jefferson, and Gage counties.

We've received reports of large hail falling in Chester, Neb. and Odell, Neb., as well as a brief tornado touch down near Odell.
