Hurricane Neki continues its trudge across the central Pacific with little change in strength expected over the next day.

Neki is a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds near 115 mph.

The hurricane was centered Thursday morning about 525 miles west of Honolulu, moving to the north-northeast near 10 mph.

The storm isn't expected to threaten Hawaii, but a hurricane warning has been issued for part of a marine conservation area northwest of the islands.
