The Nebraska Department of Roads is reporting that Interstate 80 to Wyoming is open.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation's 511 road conditions website lists most of I-80 as open for travelers in their state as well. Some areas are still being reported as wet and slick, and travelers are always urged to use caution.
Interstate 76 from the Nebraska-Colorado border to Denver is also open according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. Road conditions from Sterling to Ft. Morgan to Denver are listed as dry.
Major westbound routes from the Nebraska Panhandle into Wyoming remained closed on Saturday as road crews clear more than a foot of snow in some areas.
Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 30 was closed from Ogallala west into Wyoming. Eastbound lanes were open.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Wyoming officials requested the road closures in the Panhandle because westbound traffic was stopped.
Meanwhile, Dawson Public Power District crews have restored power to nearly 1,100 customers in south-central Nebraska. Power was knocked out early Friday as snow piled up on lines, which were then shaken by wind gusting to 40 mph.
Spokeswoman Gwen Kautz says power was restored Friday evening.
