LES Restores Power to 10,000 Customers

Lincoln Electric System crews worked around the clock this weekend to restore power to 10,000 customers.

To report a power outage, call the LES PowerLine at 1-888-365-2412, anytime night or day. The more people who call in, the better LES’ information and the faster personnel can work to solve the problem. If there's a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

LES Spokeswoman Kelley Porter said everyone has power except a few customers who need an electrician to come out and fix equipment.

“We appreciate our customers’ patience as we restore service,” said Dan Pudenz, LES vice president of Energy Delivery. “We also owe our gratitude to the law enforcement agencies, city traffic officials, emergency management personnel and fire departments for providing immeasurable assistance during this event.”

WAY TO GO LES!!! You ROCK, along with every other agency that helped the city get through the snow storm.

I don't want to be as harsh, but being 2, you should have taken the little one somewhere else .

Slightly, thats kind of rediculous. They were doing everything they could to restore power. Be happy you got restoration in 10 hours, some folks are still waiting. As far as that child, maybe it needs to be less dependent on TV....

I know they were doing all they could, but we went 10 1/2 hours without power, which wasn't so bad for me, but the 2 year was not happy without heat, warm food, or television.

Thanks, LES, for restoring our power so quickly today. Very impressive, especially since it was so difficult to get around in the neighborhoods today.

Thank you LES for restoring our power! Our 87 year old mother is living with us and she is wheelchair bound. She was in her electric lift chair, reclined, when the power went out. In the storm 15 years ago we were without power for almost a week! this time only a couple of hours. Thank you to all the personnel out there working in this weather to keep us safe.

A big thank you to all the LES employees working at all hours and in miserable weather conditions at restoring the power to our homes. Stay safe.
