Peaceful Look at the Snow-Covered City

A rare look at a blanket bounty of white
That dresses the city after a stormy night

Street signs are powdered with puffy snow
And the trees bellow with a flawless flow

Snapshots of houses quaint and cunning
Snow admirer- "it's white stuff all around.. it's stunning. "

.And the vision that even a skeptic would strike
Contrast it with the majesty of a man on a bike
And if you ask him of this painting that from a storm grew

Snow admirer- " it's rather beautiful from an aesthetic point of view "

Driving on any of the tree laden streets
Bring once in a sometime sight that greets
Those who wax holiday visions avow/
Snow admirer- "it feels like it should be Christmas right now. "
And it's quite a puzzling thought, all of this
White lightning could produce such bliss

That the aftermath of such a deliberate storm
Leaves city trees majestic with winter form.

Trees on the premises of business and
The distinguished ones on private land
Give visions of a thoughtful story book
Snow admirer- "I really like the way the trees look. "
A snow-covered plow leaves a rare sight
Of a vehicle resting after a long working night.

Bushes mushroom giving frosty fodder
To those who wonder how this comes from water.

And with the snow's blessing and just a touch of heat
Snow admirer "the sun shining on them make them look neat. "
As the trees stand in the sunshine all aglow
Basketball heeps stand filled with snow.

It's as though Mother Nature in this aftermath
Said this is my gift of thanks for putting up with my rath.

I also look forward to Bill's stories and appreciate his talent for the written word. It is nice to see something different and entertaining rather than hearing about all the accidents, murders and tragedies in the world. Thank you!
