In Lincoln, 92 plows, salt spreaders and other pieces of snow moving and melting equipment have hit the roads beating back mother nature's blast of snow.
They're asking drivers to take it easy out there and give them a break as they try to do their job.
In Lincoln Thursday, there was a minor accident involving a city plow and a car. No one was hurt.
Plow drivers work long hours, obviously driving big pieces of machinery. Sometimes they work between 12 and 16 hours per shift.
They ask motorists give them some room while they are working.
Keep in mind, in Lincoln a parking ban on the "even side" of residential streets starts at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22.
