A Nebraska man is recovering what he can from his one story home near Cook.

A reported tornado ripped through Jared Niedermayer's house on Saturday, leveling it.

Niedermayer says he barely made it to his basement before the twister totaled it. Niedermayer has owned the home for three years.

Niedermayer's truck was destroyed as well as the garage that was housing it. A barn on the property was also reduced to rubble.
