Nearly a foot of snow means endless possibilities for kids.
"I like to throw snowballs and make snowmen and snow forts!"
"I like to eat (snow)!"
"Its just really fun, for me I just like going down hills super fast."
Sledding tops the list of hundreds of kids who spent the afternoon sledding at Holmes Lake.
"You can get a lot of adrenaline and snow in you face feels awesome."
"(My sled is) pretty good it catches a lot of air."
Some kids even have advice.
"You have to learn to like aim your sled. And don't go down super big ramps because you can get the air knocked out of you, which I just did a couple of minutes ago."
Even with all the fun snow brings not everyone is a fan.
"It's cold, it's always so cold. If (the snow) does get in your face it hurts, that's why I hate snow.
Whether you like the snow or not these kids say sledding is always fun.
