Nasty Winter Weather Returns

Wow!

Like a cold slap in the face from a jilted lover, Old Man Winter returned with a vengeance Wednesday to Nebraska.

Wind gusts peaked at 50 miles an hour.

And wind chills are expected to drop below zero.

Roads in some spots were slick, so be careful and take it easy out there.

If you don't like the cold, wait a few days when temps are expected to climb back into the forties.

The roller coaster winter continues.

    Oh come on now, 'nasty' winter weather? I really do believe those to the Northeast of us would argue on that point. This is Nebraska and winter finally showed up. Besides, we desperately need the moisture. One just has to pay attention, be a little prepared, and more careful, in these conditions. This has been, and still is, a mild winter. How soon we forget. Why, I remember when...
