Forecast for Central and Eastern Nebraska

WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2015

Some lingering showers and thunderstorms will be possible early Thursday morning. Another round of showers and thunderstorms will likely develop and move through the area Thursday afternoon and evening. Some storms could be strong to severe. Heavy rain is possible at times.

A cold front moving through the area Friday brings us yet another chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some isolated strong to severe storms are possible. Heavy rain could occur at times too.

Other than a few lingering showers very early Saturday morning, the weekend looks to be dry and cooler.


WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. South-southeast winds at 5 to 15 mph.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some isolated strong to severe storms possible. Highs in the mid 70s to low 80s. South winds at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely. Some isolated strong to severe storms possible. Lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. South winds at 5 to 15 mph.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely. Some isolated strong to severe storms possible. Highs in the low to mid 70s. South winds become northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
