Watches and Warnings

Forecast for Central and Eastern Nebraska

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2014

The weekend will still be very pleasant, with temps in the upper 70s to near 80. We will have to be aware of the possibility for fog again tonight. Otherwise, abundant sunshine will be in the forecast for this weekend.

We will be dry for the majority of the week ahead... however, with the passing of a cold front early next week there will be a slight chance for showers and thundershowers on Monday. The bigger effect of that cold front will be a return back to more seasonal temperatures. Monday will be cooler and by mid week temps will sit around 60 degrees.

TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy and continued mild for late-October. Patchy fog possible. Lows in the mid to upper 40s. Northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY: Early morning fog. Becoming mostly sunny and a little cooler...but still very pleasant. Highs in the middle to upper 70s. Winds becoming easterly at 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear but not that cool. Lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. Increasing cloudiness through the day. Highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph.
