Forecast for Central and Eastern Nebraska


Areas of dense fog expected this morning. Once the fog evaporates...Thursday will see a return to unseasonably mild weather that will continue into your upcoming weekend. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s to around 80 degrees will be common each of the next four days. A stronger cold front will approach the region by us another chance for showers followed by a more significant cool down. Highs next week will fall to more seasonable the mid 50s to lower 60s...with overnight lows mainly in the 30s.


3:00 PM: Mostly sunny. Temperature, 69 to 72. South wind at 5 to 15 mph.

6:00 PM: Mostly sunny. Temperature, 68 to 70. South wind at 5 to 15 mph.

9:00 PM: Mostly clear. Temperature, 58 to 60. South wind at 5 to 10 mph.

TODAY: Areas of dense morning fog...then becoming partly to mostly sunny and warm once again. Highs in the low to mid 70s. Light and variable winds becoming southerly at 5 to 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy and continued mild for late-October. Patchy late-night fog possible. Lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s. South winds of 5 to 15 mph.

FRIDAY: Some patchy morning fog...otherwise mostly sunny and even warmer. Highs in the mid 70s to around 80. Southwest winds of 5 to 15 mph becoming west-northwesterly at 5 to 15 mph as the day wears on.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs in the mid 70s.
