Watches and Warnings

Forecast for Central and Eastern Nebraska

SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 2015

A warm Sunday is being capped off by some severe wether across the state. Just a few storms across the state as of 7:30pm... but did see hail in Custer county and even a quick spin-up near North Platte. Expect very isolated storms heading into the night. By Monday morning we could see scattered showers as temps dip into the middle 60s to start. Thanks to a cold front on Sunday the week will be much cooler. Monday's highs stay in the middle to upper 80s with less humidity and lower to middle 80s from Tuesday into the weekend. Not without rain chances though. Remember that cold front? It will stall out over the state and drop rain over the state mainly on Tuesday, but chances will extend across the work week.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid to 60s. West winds at 5 to 10 mph.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low to mid 90s.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low to mid 80s.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
