Watches and Warnings

Forecast for Central and Eastern Nebraska

MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2015

For this afternoon the sun will be out and temperatures will climb into the mid 80s to around 90. Rain showers have the opportunity to pop up for Western Nebraska into the afternoon... not anticipating those storms to make it to the Capitol City.

A low level disturbance will try to spit off some showers on Tuesday into Wednesday for Eastern Nebraska but upper level high pressure will try to keep rain chances at bay. Keep in touch with the forecast to see if those chances disappear or not. Another small rain chance come up into the weekend... at this time nothing too substantial expected... but again, keep in touch with the forecast as I know many at Memorial Stadium will be very curious about the weather on Saturday.
