A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect until midnight tonight for central and northeastern Nebraska. A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 10 pm for east central and southeastern Nebraska
Another chance for severe weather comes our way today, especially for eastern Nebraska. A lingering cold front and upper level low will continue to cross the state and give us a chance for severe storms this evening.
There is currently a "Slight Risk" from the Storm Prediction Center for severe weather in eastern Nebraska for today. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats but we can't rule out and isolated tornadoes.
Temperatures will be slightly cooler this week. There will be brief mid-week cool down with highs in the lower 70s but a warm up is expected for Memorial Day Weekend.
