Weak high pressure will continue to move away from Eastern Nebraska...with a warmer, moister southeasterly flow moving into the region. This low-level moisture will combine with a couple of upper-level disturbances and a warm front to give us a scattered thunderstorm chance today and tonight...perhaps lingering into early Thursday over eastern Nebraska. As the warm front lifts to our north...we will see warmer temperatures, higher dew points and isolated thunderstorm chances continue right through the upcoming weekend with highs in the low-to-mid 90s.

3:00 PM: Partly sunny with a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Temperature, 82 to 84. South wind at 10 to 25 mph.

6:00 PM: Partly sunny with a 40% chance of thunderstorms. Temperature, 82 to 84. South wind at 15 to 25 mph.

9:00 PM: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Temperature, 75 to 77. South wind at 15 to 25 mph.

TODAY: Variable cloudiness, breezy and warmer. A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms...isolated strong-to-severe thunderstorms again possible. South-southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph at times. Highs in the middle 80s.

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid to upper 60s.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms...breezy, warmer and more humid. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.

FRIDAY: Mostly to partly sunny, breezy and hot. Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
