LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - There’s plenty of new names to learn but the standard for the Nebraska Wesleyan men’s basketball team remains the same. The Prairie Wolves graduated a great senior class, including players Nate Schimonitz and Dylan Dirks, but are ready to prove they can compete for another American Rivers Conference championship.

“That was a big thing for us, help motivate us, because obviously practicing everyday without a first game is tough,” said junior forward Peyton Priest, who’s been practicing since October.

NWU now knows its schedule and will open up the 2021 season on January 16th hosting Rockford University. NWU begins a nine-game conference schedule against Buena Vista on January 20th.
