Thursday Forecast: Afternoon sun and breezy
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Partly to mostly sunny Thursday afternoon and continued breezy. Highs around 50 with a norh wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. at times.
Mainly clear skies tonight and colder with lows in the mid 20s. Friday morning will start of cold and frosty, but the afternoon will be mainly sunny, seasonal temperatures and not as windy. Highs Friday afternoon will be in the mid 50s.
Saturday will be warmer under mostly sunny skies but it will be windy. South winds will increase 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph at times. Highs Saturday afternoon will reach the lower 60s. Spring arrives at 4:37 AM central time. Saturday night will be windy and mild with lows in the mid 40s. Sunday will be another windy day with highs in the mid 60s and partly sunny. There will be a small chance for an isolated shower late Sunday afternoon or evening. Showers will develop Sunday night and continue into Monday.
The Monday morning commute could be a wet one as another system moves into the plains. Showers are expected through out the day Monday with the highs in the mid 50s. More showers for Tuesday with highs in the lower 50s. Scattered showers on Wednesday with afternoon highs in the mid 50s, which is right around the normal for this time of year.
