LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 29-year-old man is behind bars after threatening to kill his roommate early Monday morning.

Lincoln Police said they were called to a home near 25th and Potter Streets by a 27-year-old man who said he was watching television in his basement with another man when their roommate, Christopher Snyder, approached him holding a knife and threatened to kill him.

The victim told police he had been having disturbances with Snyder daily and was afraid for his life. The victims were able to barricade Snyder on the other side of their basement door and call police.

While waiting for officers to arrive, police said the victims reported Snyder tried to use the knife to get through the door.

When officers arrived they found Snyder had a knife hidden in a neck gaiter and had two others near him. He was arrested without incident for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
