LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon announced Wednesday he has coordinated with the Lancaster County Court, Lancaster County Sheriff, and the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department to make a COVID-19 vaccine clinic available during the Lancaster County Court Night Court session on June 17 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Justice and Law Enforcement Center, 575 South 10th Street.

“Individuals who have trouble getting time off for work for court, face the same time constraints when getting themselves or their children vaccinated,” Condon said. “We hope individuals and their children will take advantage of this opportunity for court and getting vaccinated. Any person scheduled to appear for court and who is not vaccinated may receive a vaccination before or after court,” Condon said.

The court-site vaccination clinic will be open to vaccinate adults and children ages 12 years or older. Condon said his office is looking at other potential dates for vaccine clinics coordinated with court activities.

If you’re interested in the vaccination opportunity call the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department at 402-441-8006. Be sure to let them know how many individuals will appear for vaccination so an accurate number of doses can be made available to avoid waste.
