LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A few severe thunderstorms will still be possible in far southeastern Nebraska through mid afternoon. We don’t anticipate severe weather in the Lincoln area Friday afternoon.

A cold front has moved through and that means not as hot and not as humid as we head into Friday evening.

High pressure will move into the state Friday night bringing clearing skies and more comfortable temperatures with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Saturday looks mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the upper 80s. Sunday will also be mostly sunny, but a touch warmer with highs back in the low 90s. Next week looks to stay hot with only a few chances of rain.
