Bellevue Police investigating after two found dead in apartment
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Bellevue Police Department is investigating after officers found two people dead Tuesday.
Police were called to an apartment near 36th Street and Bline Avenue just before noon Tuesday for a wellbeing check on a resident.
According to a release, BPD says they were called by someone who said a male resident wasn’t seen or heard from in days.
When officers got into the apartment, they found a man and a woman dead with gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as Luis G. Zavala, 32, and Larissa R. Zavala, 30, both of Bellevue, the report states.
BPD says this is an isolated incident, and there are no safety concerns to the public.
