Man, 66, dies from heart attack while shoveling snow

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) - A man in Tennessee died from a heart attack while shoveling snow, according to authorities.

Sheriff Billy Garrett says a 66-year-old man from Brownsville was shoveling snow at his home Sunday afternoon when he suffered a heart attack.

Garrett says paramedics pronounced him dead shortly after arriving at the home. The identity of the man will not be released until next of kin has been notified.

This is the fourth weather-related death in West Tennessee since Saturday.
