Spectacular Sunday Ahead
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A cold front brought showers and storms to parts of the state Saturday, but that front will be responsible for amazing weather Sunday.
Behind the cold front, you could keep the windows open tonight into Sunday morning as temperatures will be quite comfortable, falling to the mid 40s to mid 50s across the state tonight with comfortable dew points as well.
Sunday looks like it could be a Top 10/11 day with mostly sunny skies and below average temperatures across the state. Look for highs in the mid to upper 60s to mid 70s from west to east across the state. There could be a mix of sun and clouds for central and western Nebraska, and there could be a bit of a breeze at times through the day.
The forecast into the new work week as temperatures starting off below average in the low to mid 80s for Monday and Tuesday before temperatures peak on Wednesday into low 90s. Temperatures return to more seasonal levels in the mid 80s for Thursday and Friday. Rain chances look slim, with small chances Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
