Kamri Sylve is a New Orleans, Louisiana native. In May 2019, she graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s in Broadcasting and a minor in English.
Before coming to KOLN-TV, Kamri worked as a multimedia journalist, reporter, and main anchor for LACN on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Kamri also interned at the CBS affiliate, KLFY in Lafayette, Louisiana.
When she’s not covering news, Kamri enjoys cooking authentic Cajun and Creole dishes and spending time with her Yorkie, Stitch and her Shitzu, Teddy.
Kamri is a huge New Orleans Saints football fan but now cheers on the Huskers here in Lincoln!
