Mackenzie graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Mackenzie is a proud native of Springfield, Missouri. Springfield is famous for three things: Bass Pro, Brad Pitt and cashew chicken...and she'll talk your ear off about all three.
Before coming to KOLN, Mackenzie worked as a reporter, producer and anchor at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri and interned at KY3 in her hometown of Springfield.
A self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady", Mackenzie is the proud fur mom of a kitty cat named Murphy that she adopted from the Cat House after moving to Lincoln. Murph even has his own Instagram!
When she's not at work, Mackenzie loves to watch her favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Denver Broncos. She's a life-long Mizzou football fan, but is excited to cheer on the Huskers since they aren't in the same conference.
You can also find Mackenzie exploring new restaurants, at the gym or petting all the kitties at the Cat House.
