Brett Baker

Brett Baker is an award-winning television news journalist and producer with more than 30 years of broadcast experience.

Brett is the Executive Producer of the 10/11 NOW news team. He previously produced 10/11's evening newscasts and morning newscasts, but not at the same time!

Before moving to Lincoln he lived San Antonio, TX. For more than a decade, he served as the Senior Sports Producer for KSAT 12. His work was twice recognized by the Associated Press’ as the 'Best Sportscast' in the state of Texas.

Brett is a proud graduate of the U.S. Military’s Defense Information School and an Air Force veteran. His career has taken to him to 17 countries, covering everything from Presidential visits to the war in the Balkans to the Super Bowl.

In his spare time, Brett is a TeamMates mentor, serves on the advisory board for the Nebraska Community Blood Bank, and is in his ninth year as an Assistant Speech Coach at his alma mater, Malcolm High School.

He's originally from Malcolm, Nebraska and is very proud to work in the area that he calls home.
