Kierstin Foote joined 10/11 as a morning reporter in August 2022.
Born and raised in Lincoln, Kierstin grew up watching 10/11 and she is excited to be reporting for her hometown news station. She started as an intern in the 10/11 newsroom in the spring of 2022 and is excited to be back as a full time reporter.
She decided at a young age she wanted to be a reporter, even going up to her TV at the age of five to practice being on-air.
Kierstin will graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News and minor in Political Science.
Before coming to 10/11, Kierstin worked as an intern for Nebraska Public Media, reported for Nebraska Nightly at UNL and was a News21 Fellow at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix, Arizona.
In her free time, you can find Kierstin cheering on the Huskers, reading some sort of biography, catching a workout class or travelling as much as she can. She has four states left to visit!
