Nathan Hawkins

Nathan Hawkins joined the 10/11 NOW sports team in fall 2022 as an intern. Born and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska, Nathan has a love for broadcasting and is excited to expand his passion at 10/11.

Nathan is a senior studying Sports Media and Communications at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His experience in sports media dates back seven years when he became the play-by-play voice of football and basketball at his high school. Nathan is involved in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. He served as a leader in the inaugural class of the college’s Experience Lab, where he still serves as leader of UNLimited Sports. He also serves on the Experience Lab’s Student Editorial Board.

When he’s not gaining more experience in the media world, you could find Nathan cheering on the Green Bay Packers, playing basketball or spending time outdoors.
