Trey Perry joined the 10/11 NOW News Team in May 2019 as a producer.
Originally from McCool Junction, Nebraska, Trey graduated from Doane University in 2019 with a degree in Journalism and Media and a minor in Sociology. While attending Doane, Trey took on several positions in the Journalism department. These included serving as lead producer for 91.9 KDNE, managing editor for the Doane Owl newspaper, and assistant director for Doane Campus Television. He also participated in several outside internships at KFOR, KLKN-TV, and the Lincoln Saltdogs. During his senior year, Trey received a Golden Leaf Award from the Nebraska Collegiate Media Association for his work on an investigative sports story.
Growing up in small town Nebraska, Trey has great idea of the type of stories that interest the majority of the state's rural population. He loves seeing how other small towns across the state compare to the one he grew up in.
In his spare time, Trey likes to spend time with his friends and family, whether that be going camping, having dinner, or playing sports. He is a huge basketball fan, his favorite college team being the Huskers of course.
