Lincoln Police arrested a man who was “naked and agitated” in the backyard of a home on Friday morning.
The incident began when authorities responded to a domestic disturbance call at 3:40 a.m. in the area of 1324 S 49th Street.
The caller said the suspect was banging on the front door of the residence attempting to get in.
When officers arrived, the man was in the backyard of the home “naked and agitated,” and appeared to be on an unknown narcotic.
Police said that de-escalation techniques where immediately used, and the man was placed on the ground on his back.
However, after one handcuff was placed on the suspect, the man began resisting arrest and attempting to kick officers.
Eventually, a taser was used to subdue the man, and he was arrested without further injury or incident.
He was transported to a local hospital, and has been cited for resisting arrest and third degree domestic assault.
