LINCOLN, Neb. – $10,000 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a work site in south Lincoln, police said.

LPD said on February 11, shortly after 8 a.m., a construction contractor told police crews from multiple companies were working at a site near 27th and Yankee Hill.

The contractor told police crews locked up their equipment in a Conex box for the weekend, and when they returned on Monday, they discovered the lock was missing and $10,000 worth of tools missing.

The investigation is ongoing.
