OMAHA, Neb. – A west Omaha convenience store is $10,000 richer.

The Bucky's at 160th and West Center sold a winning $1 million Powerball ticket a few weeks ago.

The store gets a $10,000 check for selling it.

The winner, who matched the first five numbers, has yet to turn in the ticket.

There is a six month window to claim the prize that starts as soon as the numbers are drawn.

"It really varies depending on the winner's personal preference, basically. Sometimes they'll come in really quickly. Although, we did just have a winning ticket that was sold back in April that was claimed right before the deadline," Neil Watson with Nebraska Lottery said.

The winner has until April to claim their prize.

Twenty-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the $1 million prize.
