LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police cited a 45-year-old Burger King employee for reportedly punching a customer multiple times.
LPD said on May 9 around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the Burger King at 2504 O Street on a report of an assault.
Officers made contact with customers and employees and learned a confrontation took place between two customers in the drive-through and two Burger King employees.
According to the people in the vehicle, the employees were being rude, and according to the employees, the customers were swearing at them.
One of the employees, Timothy Suggs, 45, went outside the restaurant to confront one of the customers, and a fight broke out.
According to LPD, Suggs punched one of the customers in the face 7-8 times, and the victim punched him back.
Suggs was cited and released for assault.
The victim suffered five swollen knots on his head and a laceration on his chin and Suggs reported minor injuries to his elbow, jaw, chin, and hand.
