Chili's employee approached by man with a gun

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - An investigation is underway after police said a manager of a Lincoln Chili's was approached by a man with a gun.

According to Lincoln Police, it happened outside the Chili's near 27th and Pine Lake just before midnight on Monday.

The manager told police he was closing the restaurant when a man was standing near a car in the parking lot.

The victim said the suspect came toward him with a gun, but he was able to run back into the business and call the police, exit another door, and call the police.

Video from the area showed the suspect briefly entered the store and fled a short time later, police said.
