LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - High pressure will keep it sunny on Sunday with temperatures warming into the lower 50s. That's still a bit cool for late March where the average high temperature is 59 degrees.

Monday's highs should climb into the lower 60s but an impulse and associated cold front could trigger some rain showers Monday evening.

More rain chances are on the docket for Tuesday night, and especially Wednesday through the day into Thursday morning, where rain will be more widespread. Temperatures will stay at seasonal levels in the upper 50s and lower 60s through mid week followed by a late week warm up.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, not as cool. Highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Southwest winds 5-10 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Southwest winds 5-10 mph.

MONDAY: Partly to mostly sunny. 30% chance of showers Monday evening. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s. Southwest winds 5-15 mph.
