LINCOLN, Neb. — Lincoln Police said some construction equipment was damaged early Friday morning after a front-end loader was left in gear and hit a trailer.

Capt. Kocian with LPD said officers were called to the site near 84th and Adams at about 1:40 a.m. Friday.

Police said the keys were left in a front-end loader, and when somebody climbed in and started it, it started moving forward and hit a trailer.

The only damaged reported was to the neck of the trailer, which is believed to be pretty minimal.

The loader was valued at $97,000 but wasn't damaged much in the collision with the trailer.
