The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 77 on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m., when a vehicle was in a turn lane on Highway 77 looking to turn onto Old Cheney Road, and was struck by a UPS truck.

The impact of the collision sent both vehicles into the northbound lanes of traffic, striking two more vehicles.

The damage was extensive, but the Sheriff's Office said there were no serious injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.

Traffic was blocked off for an extended period of time, but Highway 77 is back open.
