LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Friday looks to be quiet and dry. Our next chance of rain moves into Western Nebraska Friday afternoon and then into Central and Eastern Nebraska Friday night. Rain will be likely Saturday. Some isolated thunderstorms can't be ruled out. Rain chances will linger into Sunday.
A cold front will move through the area Monday which will lead to a cooler day and a chance for more rain.
A warming trend will begin on Tuesday and continue through next Thursday. There is a small chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and next Thursday.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and mild again. Highs in the mid 50s to low 60s. Northeast winds become east at 5 to 10 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with an increasing rain chance after midnight. Lows in the mid to upper 30s. East winds at 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain likely. Isolated thunderstorms can't be ruled out Saturday night. Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Southeast winds at 10 to 18 mph.
