TORRINGTON, Wyo. An investigation has made its way to Eastern Wyoming College when an allegation became aware of two employees attempting to cover-up underage drinking on the campus.
According to Torrington Police Chief Tim Hurd, the incident came up after speaking with one of his officers who was previously approached by students about the issue.
EWC does not allow alcoholic drinks of any kind on their campus and in response of these allegations, the police department increased their patrol to 24 hours a day.
The employees have been placed on administrative leave and according to Director of College Relations Tami Afdahl, they are hoping to have the internal investigation completed before those days are up.
The names of the employees have not yet been released.
We will keep you updated as the information comes in.
