Man killed in motorcycle vs. car crash identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 62-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV on Highway 34 on Sunday.

According to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the crash on Highway 34 and NW 48th Street on Sunday at around 3:45 p.m.

When they arrived, they discovered a westbound 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle had collided into the rear of a westbound 2017 Toyota Highlander which was stopped for a red light at the intersection.

The driver of the motorcycle, 62-year-old Michael Stover, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured.
