GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - An afternoon spent shoplifting at five different stores has landed a Hastings man in the Hall County Jail.

According to Grand Island Police, Shawn Lacy, 31, of Hastings was arrested outside of Shopko Wednesday night after store security saw him allegedly shoplifting items.

Captain Jim Duering said that's when police found Lacy to have items from four other stores with him. Lacy admitted to having stolen the items from those stores as well. The other stores involved were Gordmans, JoAnn Fabrics, Shoe Carnival and Game On.
