Food delivery app Waitr to launch May 16th

LINCOLN, Neb. (Press Release) The popular food delivery app Waitr is expanding its footprint into Nebraska, offering a new option for on-demand food delivery from several Lincoln restaurants. The delivery service begins this week with the official launch set for Thursday, May 16. Waitr’s has a $5 flat fee on all orders, regardless of its size or the customer’s distance from the restaurant.

Over 70 Lincoln-area restaurants have already signed up with Waitr. To meet anticipated demand, they plan to hire 100 people in the area. Waitr will kick off its debut in Lincoln with special free delivery – anytime you use the app through May 31, you can get your food delivered free by using the promo code “GOBIGRED” at checkout.
