Food enforcement notices issued to Lincoln grocery store and restaurant

LINCOLN, (Neb.) The Super Saver off Cornhusker Highway and Luckies Lounge & Grill have five days to submit a written plan of action for priority item violations to the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.

According to the health department's inspection report, Luckies Lounge & Grill was given six priority violations, one of which is a repeat violation.

A majority of those violations involve issues with food temperature control for the meat. The inspector also cited the restaurant after finding flies in the facility.

Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department also issued seven priority violations to the Super Saver at 2662 Cornhusker Highway. Some of the violations included an employee not washing their hands after going to the restroom and issues with potential cross contamination.
