Francie & Finch Book Shop opens its doors

Francie & Fitch opened its doors to customers for the very first time Friday morning.

The book shop has always been a dream of owner Leslie Huerta.

"It just felt like it was the right time so we scrambled starting in, I think it was May, until Nov. 1 to really pull this all together. And we found this perfect little building, it's charming and it looks just like a book store," Huerta said.

Warm cookies were passed out to every customer who came into the store and Huerta said she's already looking to restock some of the merchandise because the opening was such a success.

The store is located on 13th and "O" street.
